About the product
OPSWAT MetaDefender MFT is a secure and controlled Managed File Transfer (MFT) solution designed to transfer, share, and store files in high-security environments such as critical infrastructure, finance, public sector, energy, and manufacturing.
OPSWAT combines classic MFT features with full file security inspection at the point of entry and exit: it integrates with MetaDefender Core, enabling multi-scanning, data sanitization (CDR), and reputation checking. Before being made available, files are automatically scanned by multiple AV engines, disarmed of potential threats, and stored in a controlled repository with full audit trails.
OPSWAT MFT supports user authorization (including Active Directory, LDAP, SSO), RBAC access control, granular transfer rules, data encryption (AES-256), and full compliance with FIPS, NIST, and ISO standards. The user interface resembles a “secure Dropbox” – intuitive and accessible from a browser.
